Weekend Style| Style Guide

My weekend style isn’t always as glamorous as the photos y’all see on here. To be honest, it wasn’t until college when my girly side even began to bloom. I was a tomboy all throughout my childhood and still choose sneakers as my go-to when I’m running around. I normally pack something similar for days I’ll be exploring a new city. Breathable denim, the sneakers for comfort, and the baseball cap because you never know what the humidity will do to your hair.

Fortunately, I’ve found a way to add a womanly flare to a mannish outfit such as boyfriend jeans, sneakers and a dad hat. Bodysuits are my go to #allsummer16 for obvious reasons. They’re so easy to style and always compliment my small frame. ASOS has the best selection of them, from cotton to lace to lace-up.

Outside of Nike Flyknits, I pair these Stan Smiths with everything. You’d think I would’ve ruined them by how often I wear them, but they’ve held up great and are still pretty icy even after I hiked in them in Canada. I’m leaning towards purchasing this peach pair as well. I keep a small collection of baseball caps to throw on whether I’m headed to grocery shop or a festival downtown.
